ABOUT MUNTA BESI

Munta Besi (also spelled Monta Bassi) is a rare natural stone found only in the remote parts of Sulawesi, Indonesia, with certain forms also known to occur in parts of the Arabic states. Known in Arabic as the Hebhab Stone (هبهاب) and in Thailand as "Leklai Tarad", this mysterious substance has been surrounded by legends of miracle and power throughout Indonesia for hundreds of years.

Obtaining a real, authentic Munta Besi is said to be no easy task, as its natural form is believed to be protected by Khodams or Devas from Alam Ghoib (the Spiritual Realm), requiring complex rituals and prayers. This is exactly why it remains highly sought-after by spiritual collectors and practitioners throughout Indonesia and Malaysia.

The stone has become widely known in recent years through the occult phenomenon of "Ilmu Kebal" (the magic of invulnerability), with many videos online of practitioners testing the stone against sharp weapons, fire and acid to demonstrate it (we do not condone such testing). In Thailand, similar tests are done with the related Leklai stone, which you will also find documented online.
