ABOUT NAGAMANI :

The Black Nagamani is among the most sought after Mustika gemstones in Southeast Asian tradition, carried by collectors, business owners and practitioners alike. Its origins sit in legend, though the working explanation within spiritual communities is a natural biological process, close to the way a cyst, a bezoar or a pearl forms. That is why no two are alike.

Ancient belief places the stone in Nagaloka, the realm of the serpents, and describes the Vasuki as guardians of the earth's buried wealth. Thai Buddhist, Hindu and Indonesian Kejawen traditions all carry the serpent as a keeper of fortune and hidden knowledge. Possessing a Nagamani is understood as unlocking access to that store, with what it opens arriving over time rather than on request.

Tantra Veda counts five great mystic stones. Nagamani is treated as the only one of the five still obtainable in the physical world.

HOW TO TELL A REAL NAGAMANI FROM A FAKE

Before you buy from anyone, us included, here is how to check.

Genuine black Nagamani is not uniformly glossy the way onyx is. Held under light it shows natural depth, irregularity and a fine internal patterning that cannot be manufactured. Our photographs are taken so you can see it.

Stones sold elsewhere that appear flat and evenly jet black are almost always substitutes, usually cheap onyx. Compare carefully wherever you buy.

Every stone we carry is examined and selected individually. You will not find these exact specimens anywhere else.

The same black stone as a sterling silver pendant with a King Centipede Pearl embedded at the back, and in a takrut casing for carrying. White Nagamani is available in all three formats and is considerably rarer.

This item contains no spirits, jinn, khodam or entities. It is a traditional Mustika gemstone, sold as a spiritual collectible on the basis of belief and folklore. Nothing above is a promise of any specific outcome.

One clarification, since it comes up often. This is not the mythical glowing red Nagamani claimed elsewhere online. That does not exist.
